We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. This website has no cookies, no tracking, and no analytics. The sections below describe the limited data processing that does occur.

3. Website Delivery via Cloudflare

This website is served through Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), a content delivery network (CDN). When you visit this site, your IP address and technical request data (browser type, page requested, date and time) are processed by Cloudflare in order to deliver the website securely and reliably.

Cloudflare acts as our data processor under a Data Processing Addendum. As a US-based company, Cloudflare processes data outside Switzerland. This transfer is governed by standard contractual clauses and Cloudflare's compliance with applicable data protection frameworks.

Cloudflare may retain server logs for a limited period for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We do not receive or analyze individual visitor data from Cloudflare.

4. Website Hosting via Google Cloud Platform

This website's content is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), operated by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). When accessed directly via our load balancer, your IP address and technical request data (browser type, page requested, date and time) are processed by Google's infrastructure.

Google acts as our data processor under Google's Data Processing Addendum. As a US-based company, Google processes data outside Switzerland. This transfer is governed by standard contractual clauses.

5. Contact by Email

When you contact us via the email link on this site, we receive and store your email address, name (if provided), and the content of your message.

• Purpose: To respond to your inquiry.
• Legal basis: Processing is proportionate to the legitimate interest of handling communications (in accordance with the principles of Art. 6 revDSG), and constitutes pre-contractual or contractual necessity where applicable.
• Retention: We retain email correspondence for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry and for up to 10 years thereafter where required for legal or commercial record-keeping obligations.
• Recipients: Your email is processed by our email provider. It is not shared with third parties except where required by law.

6. No Cookies or Tracking

This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics tools, or any other mechanisms to track your behaviour across this or other websites.

7. No Automated Decision-Making

We do not make automated individual decisions about you within the meaning of Art. 21 revDSG. All processing of personal data you provide to us is handled by our staff without automated decision-making.

Note that our infrastructure providers may apply automated security controls as part of delivering this website:

• Cloudflare: Cloudflare's security layer may automatically block or challenge requests it identifies as potential threats (e.g. based on IP reputation). These are operational security measures applied by Cloudflare as data processor, not decisions made by SAEKI.
• Google Cloud Platform: Google's infrastructure includes automated abuse-prevention and DDoS-mitigation controls that may affect request handling at the network level. These are likewise applied by Google as data processor, not by SAEKI.

Neither of these constitutes an automated individual decision by SAEKI within the meaning of Art. 21 revDSG.

8. Your Rights

Under the Swiss revised Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access (Art. 25 revDSG): You may request confirmation of whether we hold personal data about you and receive a copy.
• Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: You may request erasure of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Restriction: You may request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances.
• Data Portability (Art. 28 revDSG): Where we process your data by automated means on the basis of your consent or for the performance of a contract, you may request your data in a structured, commonly used format. Given the limited processing described in this policy, this right applies primarily to email correspondence initiated by you.
